"Pretty true. Drunk or annoyed because no one will bang you."
"... What's your point?"
"My point is I'm done."
"... Done?"
"Done. I'm not playing your games anymore."
"What games do you think I've been playing?"
"[sigh]... I waited for you, for years. You only talk to me when you have no one else. You only see me when no one else will look at you. You bounce from one person to the next, flitting around on the wind, but I waited because I hoped that one day you'd call me and you'd actually mean it."
"But I do mean it."
"No. You don't. And I am not going to be your plaything anymore."
"... But I love yo-"
"That's just it though, you don't. You've never loved me. You've loved the convenience of me. Your friend with benefits, your shoulder to cry on, your free beer when you got kicked out of someplace else. That's what you loved. You never loved me. And I deserve better than that."
"... So what now?"
"Now, we part ways. Nothing needs to be hard or painful about it. We've both invested something into this relationship, if you want to call it that, and we've both gotten something out of it. What's done is done. Now we leave and we don't look back. You can find a new loyal puppy to hang on your every word and I can move on with my life."
"I don't want to go... I don't want you to leave me..."
"I was never with you. You never let me be anything more to you then an acquaintance."

"No, you need to go home and sleep off that second bottle you're holding."
"I could sleep here..."
"No. You can go find someone else to feed off of, but I'm done being your pawn. Go home."

"I don't think you've ever truly seen me before."

"Because it's time I wake up and move on. My life could be so much more without you holding me back. I'm tired of putting my life on hold every time you call me and sweep in with your hurricane of problems. I deserve better. So I'm moving on."

"What you always do, I imagine. Drown your life in booze and hope that solves your problems for you. Goodnight."

First off, awesome that you wrote something.
Second, seems like this piece meant a lot to you and that really shows in my opinion. Not your best but what can you expect out of a dialogue only story? Point is it's a starter for getting back into the game and it's emotional and important and that's good. That's very good.
